Dave's new 51 Commodore 6
-
This is a Hudson I looked at several years ago, the owner passed away and the estate put the car up for sale. A local friend of mine bought it and has just gone thru the brakes and replaced the electric fuel pump the prier owner had installed. Some of you may know this car, it came from the Georiga area to Florida, I think about 12 years ago. Really solid car and purrs like a kitten! Does have a clutch issue that we are sorting out.
The clutch action is at the very top of the pedal and when let out, will slip a little.

Sweet looking ride. Love that hood ornament - Mal Fuller, up in NH, has a '51 Hornet Sedan with a similar hood ornament.

I had the same hood bird , I was told it was a Hudson accessory

Very Nice!
Dr. Doug should be able to help you out with any clutch issues.

It seems like I used to see those Swan hood ornaments in JC Whitney catalog.
Yes, we have talked to Doug and will call him again today.
