help with a front suspension ~ identification
-
I recently purchased a cahassi for an early 50s sports car and it appears to be a "home built" (not unusual in the day). I would like help in trying to identifiy what the front suspension came off of, it consists of a section of a subframe with the suspension that was welded to the rest of the frame.

Hi, your front suspension is out of a 51 or newer Studebaker Champion or Lark 6 cyl." Wagner- Lockheed brakes. They would have the same wheel lug mpattern as 49 to 71 Fords.
