Hi Everyone!
I am almost done with the entire catalog! Just a few more pages to go! Please use the new catalog now for all the orders as we won't be offering everything from before. After a slightly rough start we are almost caught up with all the orders and should have the rest out by the end of this week. It will still be a little slow for us a first but as we fill in the gaps in the inventory deliverys will speed up. Please email me first if you have an urget need for a particular part and I'll check availabilty before you place your order with us so no one gets in a bind. I have been taking my time to make sure the website is 100% accurate so no ones order has an mistakes on it. Please let me know if you have any troubles with the site. Paper catalogs are still a few weeks away. I don't remember typing this much for any project in my entire life! Thanks for all your support!

I would also like to thank Michael for good communication in the order I placed with him. I know he is working really hard trying to get this new business up and running. Keep up the good work !! I am pleased with the item i ordered, and the personable attention I received. I will most defiantly use Full Line again.
Good Luck!!
Best Regards, Paul in MN.

i got a P/m from Michael shortly after my last post,he didn't really say why he shut down, but i believe i have a 'feeling' of why this happened,
i hope & pray this is just a bump in in the road, because we {the hudson folk} really need a company that will supply us with the parts that we really need especially after K-crap left us with a sour taste in our mouths,Michael came in and gave us hope, lets give him some time to regroup & see if he restarts this endeavor,---chuck

Maybe that's the reason I can't access the catalog. I was on it the other day and had planned to place an order but want to check #s against catalog that I have had since way back. Hope he hasn't given up and if so why??

I placed an order too...Guess I better check on it. Really too bad if he's done. We really need someone to do this kind of thing. In the meanwhile don't forget www.partsbyemc.com out in Idaho. I have some of their lenses on my '54 and they're great.....

I think Chrysler holds the licening rights to Hudson name.
Might be something that would effect reproduction of parts?
To bad this didn't work out , the past products were good
quality.
Maybe he will pass it on to someone else.
An explination would be nice.

Many suppliers of Ford, Cadillac parts and so on, pay some royalty to the holding company. Those suppliers just raise the prices accordingly to maintain enough profit to make operations worthwhile. I tend to believe something else occured. It is not legally Fulllines responsibility to make a statement regarding the sudden disappointment of Hudson enthusiasts, and ,I'm sure Mikes as well. IMO however, ethically, some statement should be rendered.

Full Line Reproduction

From 'rumor control' - Someone within the HET Community is 'picking up the ball' and running with it...

A 'vendor' at the National is selling parts with the 'Front Line Reproduction' logo, and indicates they have 'picked it up'.

I also am aware of the person that has picked up the business, but why hasn't he started advertising yet?

Do they carry the door seals for a 50 Pacemaker? I just found that mine leak when she got a bath today.

I can confirm - Yes, it is 'Doug'. Didn't see him today, but have no doubt he's there & selling 'Full Line..' items.

When Doug gets a breather from the National I am sure I speak for many of us in expressing
an interest in learning more details: how it came about, what is available and what are the plans for additional parts production and contact and payment info. Also many thanks for taking this risk and opportunity ! Gert Kristiansen

Thank you Gert.

I've spoken wth Doug at Gettysburg, and just traded correspondence with him. Doug indicates that he needs a month or two to get his plans for 'Full Line' worked-out. He's running on 'overload' right now, and asks that we all be patient with him during this process.

I am very enthusiastic about this, and wish him well - and am sure to be a customer when he 'opens shop' on Full Line Reproduction.

I also wish nothing but good fortune to K-Gap (not present at Gettysburg(?)), and hope that they are able to recover and overcome any/all issues that they may be facing.

I went right to him in the flea market. Took the sheets he had and wrote 3 pages of numbers that were related to 54. After that, I took each and every plastic bags and sorted the numbers matching mines and ended up buying my first rubber parts. God I needed rubber parts! Glad to know it's in good hands and, as said before, let us give him time to organize. He already told me some of his plans to simplify the process of finding the good part faster. We can't go wrong wirh Doug! Michel

Dr. Doug has the reputation and credentials. There's probably no one better in HET to run a Hudson-based business. Being patient for him to get underway is more than worth it on the part of the rest of us Hudnuts.
