July/August WTN

Steamboat comin' round the bend - dropped off the latest WTN in my mail box. Another triumph for Sam and Mary Ann. The issues get better and better. Thank you very much for your hard work and dedication - it's appreciated.

Mine arrived here in Metro DC today.
-
Sam, unfair shot!!! This means that I get to hear folks talk about how great it is for the next two weeks. Talk about suspense. By the way, could it be better than the cover of the Spokane National where I had the honor to apear on the cover--or am I biased?Brownie
-
Sorry to say, I have stopped getting the WTN, the reason being I paid for first class mail and unfortunately it takes so long to arrive, I know not the clubs fault, but, I hear you guys talking about it about 4 or 5 weeks before mine arrives. I sure miss it, but, don't how to get it here any quicker. I get our Hudson Hub by email as soon as the editor has finished it, even before it goes to the printer, suppose we are spoilt.
-
It is my understanding (Sam, correct me if I'm wrong) that the WTN is digitized at this time. So would it be so difficult to email it overseas??? This should be discussed by the Board of Directors and something should be done.

Sam, did not think you would ever sell your car!
-
Love the cover as well. And a fantastic issue, once again! :)

This 29 Essex was a hit at our Orange Blossom Chapter's annual "spouses night out". Each year in february we meet at Old Town in Kissimmee on a Saturday night. They park our Hudson products on main street and we lead of the parade of cars. usually several hundred antiques and street rods. Dan swears he is going to preserve the car as is. If anyone wants to know details, like upholstery patterns etc., this car is a gold mine of information. I don't know if we managed to convince him to join our chapter. Looks like he has joined the National.
-
Sam, I agree that the cover is a gem. One fantastic photo and story. Yes, this means that mine showed up in the mail today just two weeks after the rest of the group started talking about it. I also like the split back page. Great issue....Brownie
-
Not here yet-----
What about an on-line issue the first day of mailing?
-
Mine was waiting for me as I returned from Gettysburg. What a happy greeting! Almost did all the reading from page one to the back cover. Another great issue! Thanks Sam and Mary Ann! Michel
-
Mine isn't here yet ; waiting for it to turn up so I can see what everyone is talking about! :-S

Got mine today, love it. Thanks Sam and Mary Ann. Matter of fact it has my car in it from one of our local monthly meets. Richie.
