    Was just doing a 'test fit' to see how all the components went together.

    Internal components, gathered together after putting them through the vibratory tumbler. The springs at the top of the picture are after-market, and the new screws at the bottom are 10-32 3/4", because the older screws are not really useable (they go into a nylon (?) piece, riveted to the bottom of the bucket. I did not want to strip those threads!

    As indicated, this is just a 'test fit' - I had never put one together before (that might be a 'plus' here - nobody to say 'that won't work!'). I put it together, as if it was 'going on the truck'. Only item left out of the 'mix' were the actual bulbs, I even installed the wiring harness, cork gasket, etc..

    Finished product -

    BTW - That chrome ring around the lens is a plastic after-market OTC piece. IMHO it works as good as the stainless piece, doesn't rust, and also acts as a seal against moisture getting into the bucket from between the bucket and the lens.

    Great job Rick,
    I'll invite you up for test fitting once I get all the bits and pieces I need! LOL! Besides the parts, what else goes into the tumbler to bring out the shine?

    Parts are clean (no dirt - remove as much grease as you can).

    1st phase - I use brown or green pyramid media, wetted with a solution of water, degreaser, and muratic acid to assist with rust removal. It is run from 6-12 hours or more, depending on the parts.

    Parts are thoroughly rinsed, dried, then;

    2nd phase - plain grond-up walnut shells, dry, run from 12-24 hours;
