Carpeting in my 54 Coupe
-
What would be the best way to install the carpeting under the clutch and brake pedals? I have tried and then after a while, the carpet then slides down into a folded position. Not only is it unslightly but it is a pain to try and reposition the carpet only to have it slide down again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Along this same line, I will be carpeting a 54 sedan and need to find out if there is any vender out there than makes form fitting sets,or will I have to make a custom set ????. Is there any one out there that can do this?

Richards, The floor covering of my Hornet Special was a rubber mat and fastened to the lower firewall with sheet metal screws in 4 or 5 places. I believe your original carpet was held up there in the same manner and the holes should still be there.

Isn't the front carpeting held in with snaps in '54? I thought I remembered seeing something like that in '54. Little chrome, button head type snaps that you would push on or pull off.
