Hydramatic filler floor-plug for Hornet needed.
-
Need the plug that fits in the hole in the floor through which you check and add Hydro tranny fluid. I know they're a "high-casualty" item (checked with Jason Fisher and Gene Eshelman) but thought I'd put the word out. Any condition as long as it's mostly still there is fine. Thanks, Bob

Try your hardware store, mcmaster-carr or grainger. I could have sworn I found a found the right size at mcmaster-carr.Six in a row makes it GO!
-
Grim Greaser, I think he's talking about the cover in the floor and your talking about the plug in the tranny itself.
-
that's what I mean, the 2 1/2" plug for the floor. I found them somewhere. McMaster has plastic hole plugs to 2 1/2", but I think I found the metal ones too.

Roger - I could use one of those plugs for my '54. How do I get in touch with you. Also, in some '54's they had a larger rubber plug that you would remove from the carpet to get to this metal hole plug. Do you have any of those?

Thanks so much guys; I found one locally. Been busy and dropped the ball, but thanks for the input.
