'37 Terraplane Pickup (Project) - on eBay -
-
Saw this on eBay this morning - A '37 Terraplane Pickup Project. This is a very rough project, with a lot of work needed. Currently at $3,050 (reserve not met) with a BIN of $14,500.00. IMO the BIN is about $7K too high -
Ebay 37 Terraplane Pickup Project -
Last month I saw this truck, in Redkey, IN, glad to see it listed for sale.
Can't really add much as the pictures tell the story. -
$14,500!!???? =)) They didn't even TRY to make it presentable! Some folks just blow my mind . . .
-
I believe there is a presentable one in Dick's Garage in San Marcos. It is a 1938, not a '37. but it has the boxed bed walls,. Yes, here it is.

In that shape I would not pay more than 2k. Too much money to restore with little chance of getting it back out so you better love that truck.www.hudsonmotorcar.org

Thats not the correct steering wheel is it ?

Hi Roger,
No, it isn't. The description indicates it is from a Willys (?).
IMO, the truck will not be sold this 'session', unless the seller drops his reserve. I'm not bidding (got too many projects already), and don't think I'd take this one on - even if I was looking. -
Truck sold - BIN of $11,950.00... =))
-
Wow!! That seems crazy. Am I getting old, or what? I don't get it.
-
Gotta be a mistake somewhere- as my Dad used to say, "Anybody rich enough to buy that would be smart enough not to." That thing would break your heart, to try to restore.
-
Looked like new account on ebay to me so I am guessing this vehicle never sold. :)] just a guess but at that price after resto you are going to be deep in the hole. @-)www.hudsonmotorcar.org
