Hudson wheels??
-
First of all, I'd like to say that I see no benefit from this new forum hosting service. The pictures are smaller and I can't even expand them. And I haven't been able to do a "quote" when replying......
Besides that, I'm wondering if anyone recognizes these wheels. They were on my '49 when I bought it, but I don't think they are original to this year....and probably not even Hudson. I'm thinking they might be dodge/plymouth since the lug pattern is 5 on 4.5, but just not sure about them. I see a lot of other artillery wheels that have a different number of spokes, but very few with 10 spokes like these. They are 16 x 5's. Appreciate any info....thanks, LeeThis Hudson project is starting to scare the crud out of me!!! -

They are 36 Terraplane wheels

Those are not Hudson wheels. Chrysler wheels. Walt.

These are what the wheels look like on my 36 Hudson. The wheels you have are quite different. I expect that Walt is right when he says Chrysler.

Lee, I was having the same issues with pictures not opening up, i would click on the pix and nothing would happen. Then i figured out unless your signed in you cannot expand any photos on this new forum.

Hey Brownie.....I like your wheels. And the wide whites with the "Pie crusts"....sweet.
I think i count 12 spoke....mine are 10....I'm thinking Walt knows his shiz :-)
Anyway, can someone tell me how to do a "quote" on a post??? Why did we change the forum to this new system? People say it's better, but how??? Please tell me HOW IT'S BETTER??? So far nothing that I've seen is easier or simpler than the previous system....no "speed up" either. I imagine it's a "follow the money" thing....someone got paid-off....you can bet that!!!!
Thanks,
