It is definitely selling, since there is no reserve and there is already a bid. I think I have only seen one of these on a car. Pretty cool item.

Interesting accessory for a Hudson, I have one installed in my 1953 Wasp.
Note in the attached pictures the aluminum bar across the bottom of the uprights. I added the bar for stabilty and ease of mounting. The OEM uprights are designed for the shorter window opening. But by affixing the top of the brackets to the top of the window opening and adding the brace on the bottom this option can be installed in the "Big window" Stepdowns.
Another interesting bit of trivia: Hudson corporate folks saw the opportunity to continue the sale of this accessory for later Stepdown cars and offered the venetian blinds in longer sections to fit the uprights. The blinds in my car are those longer blinds. I discovered this trivia when I bid and won "a grab-bag pile" of items sold at a former Hudson dealer auction in Nebraska. 20 boxes of blinds were included in the pile. Each box was constructed of wooden sides with cardboard front and rear covers stapled to the sides. The blinds were aluminum as are those in my car.
