Found underwater - is it a Chevrolet?
-
Hi all,
in an austrian lake, we found a few years ago (amongst other "Wehrmacht"-cars) the remains of this sedan car and since then, we were discussing about the manufacturer of this car. After doing some research, I am now quite sure, it is a 1937 Chevrolet.
Can you approve this? What type of Chevrolet is it?
thanks and br from austria

Yes, it's either a 37 or 38 Chevy. The dashboard and the "speed line" in the lower front part of the front doors confirm this.

Thanks a lot clarifying

Quite interesting, that at this place, there are lying the remainings of two "Wehrmacht"-cars and two "Wehrmacht"-trucks: The trucks are from french production and the cars from austria and from the US.
Again, thanks for your help.
Last question: are the remainings of the Chevy worth of salvaging? Is it a rare model?
br

No!
