Current versions of both Firefox and Safari have spell checking features.

Apparently, there is no 'spell check' feature that comes with MS Internet Explorer, although an aftermarket or add-on 'spell checker' can be installed. There is talk of Spell Checker being a part of IE 10, but that is pure speculation until it is released...

As with anything from Microsoft, they complicate it - making it much harder than if it were simply an add-on. Here are the MS instructions for 'Accelerators', which is where the spell-check is added-on in Internet Explorer:

Essentially -
Right-click within the body of IE (anywhere there isn't a box or window);
Click on 'All Accelerators' then 'Find More Accelerators';
In the search box (top right) type 'spell', and click the search button;

This will show you a couple of different 'spell check' add-ons ('Accelerators') for IE - essentially, the link provided just above these instructions.

I went on the link page and went through the four pages of accelerators and could not find one for spell check. I added one for dictionary but it does not seem to work?"
