    FYI
Butch Smith has been building a modified Hornet Motor the past few yrs with Billet Stroker Crank, Large valves, Isky Cam, Randy Maas T/Chain&, Clifford Head, Spring Trans Adapter, Custom Built Headers, etc, for his '46 Hudson Cpe that Butch has owned forever.

The Chassis has 4 wheel Discs, Ford 9' rear, and top shelf all the way, but the large Blower is destined to be the 'Ultimate Hornet Power plant' Thanks to Rich Thompson of the 'Hudson Boys' for machining the Head, and fabricating the manifold, Pullys, adaptor, and Blower drive assenbly,....

[/b][/u]Belive it or not, This Motor Combo is for a St Rod!!! However, with Butch's Drag Race Background a 'Fun Run' (or two) may become a reality......TBD

Thanks for the pictures Ol racer. An update, Butch has recently received his Twin Vortex aluminum head. He says, it will be used on the blower motor. He brought the head to the CIC chapter meeting at Vintage Coach for us to drool over. We are all looking forward to the day he has it running.

    Have a good day.

Thats a nice intake can those guys make an aluminum version of the Twin H intake? just the weight savings over the cast would be great.

Looks like he has beaten me to it! I am working on putting an M90 Supercharger on an AMC 6 cylinder with a megasquirt fuel injection. After I get done with that, my coupe is next. I like it when someone gets the hard hurdles out of the way! I wonder what he is going to do for a fuel source?

Can that Manifold take one 4 with out the blower? That would be a great 4 bbl intake. Also will it fit a 308?

This Modified Hornet Motor is going into the Coupe shown earlier... Check the Oil & Cooling Mod's, B&F Aluminum Head, and the Billet pullys.... Probably the Supercharger wont be installed again until after Motor in Chassis...

Well, its not mine, but watching the build with the large cam, valves, relief, ARP Fastners, Billet Stroker Crank, Randy Maas Roller Chain, Custom Head & Headers, HEI Ign, with a very big Supercharger, into a Cpe Chassis thats been all updated probably will have easy 400HP and turn in the low 12's, (but doubtful the owner will ever race it after many yrs of building) TBD...
