Greetings fellow Hudson owners.

I'm on the hunt for a nice pair of stepdown doorsills for my 49 Brougham. I'm in the process of putting a new interior in the car, and dug out my set I had squirreled away so long ago, only to find out they were in much worse shape than I had remembered.

I'd ideally like to find a pair in good condition with the black silkscreening still in place, but it is not imperitave.

I do, however, need them to be relatively straight without any large tears or extra holes (like mine have unfortunately).

Let me know what you have, all leads are appreciated.

Have you checked ebay? A few days ago I saw some very good looking door sills with the black silk screening almost like new on ebay. Not needing any I didn't pay any attention if they were for 2 or 4 door stepdown. I hope they fit your car.

Lee - I have checked ebay, and haven't seen any recently. From what I understand, the reproduction ones have the silkscreening, but no embossing like originals.
