Does anyone has some good pics of the interior of a commodore?
    Especially the dashboard.
I have a great project car that is solid as rock, just needs a little TLC!

Have you considered trying to find someone with a good '46-7, and then going to see their car (and to take photos and measurements yourself)? Many Hudsonites are happy to help their fellow owners in this way. Assuming you're in the Club, just go through your roster (under your state listing) to see if there isn't a '46-7 somewhere near you.

There are plenty of '46-7's in Pa. to see!

Maybe you should plan to come to Doc's Meet in Virginia, in May. Should be some cars there that you could look at firsthand, maybe some parts you need too!

Hi everyone---I could be wrong, but I think the supers & the commodores had different upholstery. Also different color dash instruments.---Cliff Minard

Yeah and Commodores had a lot more nickle plating on them.

Remember though in your resto you realy cant be faulted for having Commodore fabric in a Super. As the factory was well know for selling you what ever you wanted when ordering a car. So if you like the Commodore wheel by all means put it on you r car if you like.

You know, I was around Hudson and their strange way of doing business for many years, ending under the 1st year of the '55 AMC Hudsons, and truly, I do not remember ever being able to order a Super Series with Commodore interior trim other than the large steering wheel. Same was true in the early '50s, If you wanted Commodore or Hornet interior trim, brother you ordered a Commodore or Hornet. Again, the large DeLuxe steering wheel was available as an add-on, but that was the jest of it! !Same was true of the exterior trim, altho many dealers, including us, did take liberties and install front fender top ornaments, and some times the side trim from a Super Wasp or Commodore on the Pacemaker, as well as two tone paint for the Pacemaker and '53 & '54 Wasp

I must admit I am not old enough to have been there when Hudsons were in the showrooms. I was just repeating the very common story story so many oldder guys have related to me. I seem to recall reading it in on of the Hudson books along the way.
You could buy the super then have all the Commodore trim put on.And the cost would be less than the Commodore car itself.
As I said I was not there so we need to rely on gentlemen like your self to keep us on the straight and narrow
