That's not a bad restoration candidate.

It is a 1935 Terraplane as numerous commenters (including me) have noted on the auction and as the seller himself has also added in the auction text. EVERYTHING about the car is 1935.

Well, it looks to be 96-97% there. That's always a plus.

Check on the things I don't see and are real hard to find, rust is some times easy compared to trim. I don't see any brite trim and I'll never try to make another set of running boards for a Terraplane!

    Hi Mike.
From the picture I have it looks fairly good. But apparently the guy is a bit difficult to deal with . Apparently it has been in storage at least 40 years. I would have followed it up myself but I ended up buying the 35 8 Coupe that was advertised in our club mag. Send me your E mail and I will forward the details to you. In the NZ HET Club one member has both a 34 T6 Coupe & a 34 H8 Coupe amongst other HET cars in his collection while a diff guy has a 34 H8 116 roadster

    Mike,
the latest HET club registry for the 1934 cars list a total of 23 Coupes. 15 are Terrplanes and 8 are Hudsons. I'm always adding newly "found" '34 vehicles to the registry so, best guess is that there's probably another 6-9 coupes out there that belong to folks not in the HET club or are rusting away in someone's back yard.
