I NEED 14 4 INCH 7/16 COURSE BOTH ENDS STUDS. THESE ARE FOR MY RUMBLE SEAT COVERTIBLE. THE MOTOR IS COMPLETELY REDUILT. THESE ARE THE LAST PARTS I NEED. LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE 1 OR 14 FOR SALE. IF I NEED TO BUY FROM 14 PEOPLE ONE AT A TIME THATS FINE.THANK YOU. PAUL

I was able to get specialty studs & bolts from hot rod shops, if you have any in your area. They also would have hardened ones I used on 7X & as replacements on std. blocks.
Another little tip in re chrome plating, particularly in re small things, like hood ornaments, crankhole covers, maybe hubcaps, etc.: if a custom motorcycle shop around, those guys only want TOP QUALITY chrome work done on their bikes so ask them where they get their chrome done if you need such work.

DORMAN AND OTHERS IN MY AREA ONLY HAVE COURSE ON ONE END AND FINE ON THE OTHER. NAPA DID A SEARCH AND CAME UP WITH THE SAME ANSWER. SO A HUDSON PERSON IS MY HOPE HAS SOME.

Put the coarse end in the block and use fine nuts on the other end?

THE OTHER 14 ARE 3 1/2 LONG COURSE BOTH ENDS. USING FINE MIXED WITH COURSE CREATES A TORQUEING PROBLEM ACCORDING TO MY ENGINE BUILDER WHO HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR PROBABLY 50 YEARS. THANKS FOR YOUR IDEA.

fastnel services has 7/16x14 allthread made from 4140 alloy steel,this is not the soft type you get at the local hard ware store.
It comes in 3 or 6 ft.sticks and would need to be cut to whatever length you needed.part numbers are 47671 and47455.

on the continental flat head I have in my fork hoist on the rebuild sheet it highly recommends new studs or bolts as a problem solver as they tend to stretch the threads over time, these are torqued to 70-75 lbs i don't know how much the Hudson's are torqued too or if they are as high

you could maybe try ARP-bolts.com
I got a set from them for a V8 diesel at the time, their quality is famous worldwide

Have you looked at McMaster-Carr's online catalog?. I expect they would have it.
