    Hi Hudson Dave here :woohoo: I know I know it's been a long time . I need some help . I am putting Hornet brakes on my 1946 hudson truck . I have the drums BUT can't seem to fined the size brake shoes . my question is what is the size are the hornet shoes? 11-2 or 11-1/2. The drums are 11-2 3/4 . Dose any one have any help on any of this . Thanks Hudson Dave:P

    All l.w.b. Step-downs have the same brakes 11" x 2-1/4" front and 11" x 1-3/4 rear. Front pistons are 1-1/16" and rear pistons 15/16". Linings are moulded and original thickness was .177"

    Hey gang good news. I accidentaly found a place for parts for all kind of cars . They still use books :ohmy: The hard to find BS18 shoes for step dowd 11-2 1/4 To reline your shoes $58.00 . Or he has another brand that has a coupel of extra holes for auto adj. no core $30.00. They have all kid of parts .
