That's great, Dave. Super job, rare car.

Great job Dave, thanks for leading me over to the site...Brownie

Absolutely beautiful, especially the interior treatment. It is nice to see projects like this where the vehicle looks original. Seems to be quite a bit of that these days.
Luck on the '38.

Thanks Alex. The interior was done by a local guy here in Hickory. He really did a nice job and was very easy to work with. His price to me was very reasonable as well. If anyone is interested his name and contact: Tim Odell 704-881-4128DSCN0619.JPG800 x 600 - 41K

Hey Dave,
I thank you as well for leading me here. During show season I work part time for Ididit Inc., the steering folks. I fill in when part of the sales team are at major events. I evolved from street rods to Studebakers to Hudsons. Last month I bought another Studebaker. It was cheap or I couldn't have done it. Got a bit discouraged with my Hudson.
There's a 48 Chevy sedan delivery sitting behind a custom paint shop in the next town south of me and I try to pretend it isn't there when I pass by.
I like your livery,
Kim -
Thanks Kim. My next project is to put a power steering unit on the delivery. Vehicle is pretty heavy and a load to steer for anyone not use to driving the vehicle.

Every time I come back to this page, I've GOT to go thru those pictures! Aside from the truck, the neatest part is that I recognize the background (for some reason(?)) ;-)

Can't get any better than this

Superb job Dave, thought it was brave posting on this side LOL
