Hi Dave and welcome in this forum and in the Fabulous Hudson World. If you look on the topic submitted on october 21st at 11:03 titled "Guy looking for a 51,52,53 Hornet Coupe", you could find a hint right there. And I'm sure other members will get you some infos too. I would suggest you specify in what area you live. Somebody from the HET Club could contact you and I suggest you join that great Club too! Have fun! Michel

    Thx for the warm welcome...

I am already member.. ;) and still waiting for my first issue... that with the place i live is kind of a problem... ;) Switzerland (not Sweden). I have already spoken many times with niels, he is a great guy and very fair and kind, if i was shure about the financing it was a mather of some days... s**t, but it was important to me he's not getting in troubles, so he could already sell hes blue car.. :( bad for me... i would already have buyed hes blue car. :)

You will get the WTN soon, David. In the meantime, classifed ads from previous issues are posted on the HET Club website. It shouldn't be too expensive to ship a car to Europe, especially if the seller will help get it to a U.S. Port. I'm thinking around USD2,200, but it has been some time since I shipped a car over and that was from Long Beach, California. Good Luck! :cheer:

check out zombiescustom's 4-door 1953 Hornet restosled, post is on sept. 22nd. That one is as cool as a Hudson will ever get! No coupe will ever come close! Just widen your horizont to the flowing stretched lines of a sedan and suddenly heaven will be full of readily available cars!

    ;-))

    Cheers

    Pinto?

Does it look anything like this one? This one was built in 1980 by Ford's Designer Mr. Shay. It runs a Pinto engine, front end, Tranny and drive line.

Maybe we do a driving tour of the Kaiserstuhl??? Kenneth

no not yet! soon.... crazy story... could buy the car from one guy, endet up in buying the car from the the one who buyed right away from my nose... so i had to put a pair extradollars on top... :(

I have seen many Hornets, but what i specially loved on this one was, the fact that he is Bali Blue... I love that color. that car looks awesome.

The condition is fair, not perfect but nicely used, perfect for what i want. I want to drive the car.

The car will be shipped from la to switzerland, and some special thinks will come seperatly, like the 7X engine (replica from Randy), that will come in to the car.

Fact is that there are non very cheap Hornets to buy... so no way to get just a cheap one, but i love to see what i found.

David, das auto ist wunderbar! And the car it looks like you're doing well with the needed renovation. You should get acquainted with Hansruidi Haessig in Wetzikon (1933 Terraplane Six) and Harry Wohlgroth across the lake in Horgen (1952 Hornet sedan). I can give you email addresses if you contact me at hetpwald@comporium.net (remove the "het" for actual address).

You didn't answer Pierre's question: Wo wohnen Sie?

    Hello Guys

I use just the best for the car... :)

    http://www.sikkenscr.co.uk/sikkenscr/uk/Products/Pages/Colorbuild.aspx

2k basis but better then Epoxy...

Soon, there will be welding on the car. I am real happy when it drives... ;)
