53 Hornet
-
Well, I thank everyone for the help with my vin# questions, it turns out it is a 7C. We just bought the car and should have it in a week or two. It will be coming from CA. It is a 53 Hornet that was restored 20 years ago and has been stored for most of that time. It is a 4 door, green and ivory with a real leather interior. It is a standard shift with overdrive. We are very happy to have finally gotten a Hornet. Richie.

Michel, I will post some pics after I get it home and cleaned up. There were a few small pics on the net but not very good ones. After I get the complete story I'll post it here. Thanks for your interest. Richie. -

Curious, is this car, the one that has been stored in a winery? -
Congratulation Richie, I can imagine how excited you are for your Hornet to arrive. I hope it will be a short wait. Looking forward to seeing the picture and hearing all about it.

Thanks Lee, waiting is hard but as long as it gets here safe and sound I will be happy. It needs a good cleaning and some minor details need to be taken care of. I should have more history of the car after it arrives. Richie. -
Congratulations Richie, and welcome to the Hornet group!:cheer: Look forward to seeing the pics.
