Thanks Jon for posting. I assumed everyone would know they are the curved ones so 1948-53 Hornet and Wasp, commodore, Pacemaker - all models. If folks needs pictures I can take them. we have thousands of glass parts so we only have the "popular ones" with pictures that we sell a lot of. I can be reached 7 days a week at richardt@prosourceglassintl.com or during the week 877-345-2800 US & CAnada Toll Free. The pass side green shade band one was produced definitely back in the 1950's. They did change the shade band in later years in case someone wants it measured. Thanks again, Richard

No offense intended, but 2-piece windshields go back to the mid-1930's (my '37 has one). So, for future reference, you might want to mention the years. Some glass shops still have patterns for making the earlier flat glass, so when a consumer sees an ad for a Hudson 2-piece windshield, he would not automatically know that the seller means they're for a Step-Down!

Yes you are right. of course the earlier ones being flat anyone can cut the glass from pattern. Would you believe our family gave away the patterns during the later 1970's before the demand in the restoration business made them valuable. My father started his own business in 1953 and already had a couple of years experience by then. he installed these when the cars were new!
I have only been doing full time for about 27 years and as a kid helping out I started in the late 70's. I remember all this glass before anyone reproduced and it was assumed NOS US made. Now NOS can mean 20 year old repros.
We have a lot of curved 2 piece original US made windshields for a lot of models besides Husdon if anyone is interested..
