CHOKE
-
What should I do to trouble shoot a choke that doed NOT open as the car heats up..
The butterfly moves free and easy and the tube from the manifold to the choke that conducts heat is connected..
This is on a 1954 Hudson Wasp with 262 engine.
THANKS,
TOM -
Does the heat tube from the manifold get hot? If not, it may have rotted out inside the manifold,or is plugged, or the port from inside the choke housing is plugged not allowing vacuum to pull air through.
If it is getting hot, then you have a bad choke stat.
