Fuel Line - pump to tank - purchase or bend?
-
Classic Gurus,
My 54 Ford Customline is having fuel flow issues - I have a new fuel pump, new fuel line between pump and carb, new carb, and new short fuel line (12") right after the pump.
I'm thinking that the original metal? line from the pump to the tank (quite long obviously) is probably clogged up with gunk. My fuel tank sending unit is also not working, so I think this is a good time to replace that long fuel line, gas tank, and sending unit with new clean units.
The gas tank and sending unit appear pretty common and are all over online for a reasonable price, but I'm not really finding the long fuel line. Is this something I need to purchase straight and then bend myself (like the one between the carb and pump) , or can you buy them pre-bent? Where is the best place to buy the long fuel line?
thanks!!! -
