39 Hudson wont start
-
Not sure where to start. Thinking maybe wiring issue. I push the start button but nothing happens. No sound or anything. I changed the Start solenoid as before it would make a click sound. But now I get nothing. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Also I have a new battery and I get dash lihgts. SO that wouldnt be the issue. Thanks!!

Assuming you do have a good charge in the battery
I'll start with what should be the stupid question, Did you turn on the key? assuming yes, does your solenoid have a button to manually energize the starter ? if so try it if that works you have a problem in the wiring from the to the solenoid or the solenoid is bad(i understand it is new but last year i put a brand new bad one on so don't assume new = good). Also is your solenid mounted in such a way that it gets a good ground? if you can determine the solenoid does react to the dash button I would expect the starter itself.
Having a meter or at least a test light would make trouble shooting easier. -
