6V Alternator
-
I'm about to place the order for a 6V alternator from 5th Ave Internet Garage, but the instructions they post with the part description says I need to switch the battery polarity back to neg ground. Will this be acceptable? I like my AM radio, etc.
Thanks,
Jon -
they make a conversion kit as well--

If you want a 6 volt 53 amp output, you need to start with a 105 amp 12V alternator. -

This site has both + and - 6volt Alternator. Brent -
What BHLHet says:
Quick Start #D110sisE6v53 thats 53 Amps
1 wire to Bat on Voltage Reg, and Bat to Battery, or starter Solenoid. Works like a champ. They even have mounting hardware. Negative ground.
