Bonjour Pierre, I watched all your films. Very interesting that you had that car from Canada and drove it right away from upon arrival ( was it in a container?) for several hundred miles. Want to have mine ready for 2012...

The car looked in a very good condition before you began the restoration.

I saw your old Simca too. What happened to it?

Looks like you went to work as soon as you got the car. I think you will have a very nice restoration there/ On dirait que tu t'es mis au travail aussitôt que tu as reçu la voiture. Je crois que tu réussiras une très belle restauration.

    Hi Pierre,

I just saw you are from Strasbourg. Good to know that there is another Hudson fan not so far away from where I live. I am living appr. 150 km north of you in Germany near Worms.

Since my wife is from time to time in Alsace for weekend trips, there may be now a reason to join her. :D

I still do not have a Hudson, but I think latest next summer I will have a stepdown. That means I am still searching a good early stepdown model.

    Regards

    Andreas

Hey, another one from germany! Great! I'm from Landau a. d. Isar (about 100 km east of Munich). It's great to find more and more hudson-interested people here in germany. There are really a little number of guys who have hudsons near or in germany. Last year in May we arranged a little hudson meet at the "oltimer in obwalden"-meet in switzerland. We had about 10 cars, most of them from switzerland. I own a 52 Pacemaker (Driver) and a 48 Commodore 8 Project car (much to do on it...). So good luck for your search! I hope you will find YOUR favorite hudson soon.

Hi Pierre. You did a lot of progress in quite a fast time. I should begin mine this winter. Cannot be of any help with the body or mechanic but if you need help to translate some french to english words, I'll be pleased. You have my e-mail but, just in case you don't: HETjmichel13@hotmail.com (drop the HET)Michel.

Bonjour Pierre.
Michel.

If I remember well it is a 1949 Hudson Super Six. And I think Pierre will need the ( I'm not sure how we say that in english ) door sill plate? That stainless flat part that covers the top of the lower part of the body when you enter the car. And I think there is an Hudson script on it. Will write to him to be sure. Michel
