1939 Hudson info & parts needed
-
I'm looking for some front side grills for a '39 Hudson 91 - 95 series, also need center front bumper Hudson plate, wiper arms, and wiper washer nozzles. Let me know if you have any of these or any other '39 trim parts....
-
I'll leave the rest of the questions to others, but I might be able to help you out on the washer nozzles. First, I assume you have the correct chrome wiper stanchions (or transmission, if you will) with the threaded holes in the side for the nozzles. (I had thought these were introduced in 1940 but maybe not.) The holes have tiny threaded plugs in the sides. You should contact Vince's Old Car Parts in Cleveland, Ohio, because that is where I purchased two NOS nozzles for my wiper stanchion, earlier this year. His phone number is (216) 881-0044, hours 9 - 3, weekdays.

Good luck on finding those side grille pieces, I have after some for a while now with no luck. I think that when people find out that you are going to street rod it you are basically damned to "Hudson Hell". I am one of those people that get alot of flack from some people. I am street rodding my '39. I will be using only a few of my trim pieces - I will not be using most of my trim pieces, dash, clock, glove box, bumpers, seat frames and I am not sure of what else yet. The list could be longer... I have sold some things here locally, and some on ebay. Keep an eye out for postings here for a list when I get one made, and/or items on ebay. I have my frame just about complete- Mustang II front end-Air ride Technology Shockwaves- 9" Rear end with triangleted 4 link with shock waves - a 351 windsor motor and a AOD transmission- Wilwood Slotted cross drilled disc brakes - all the way around. Please let me know if you are interest in any trim pieces-Parts. My email - hotrodsbyhardy@aol.com. Thanks and good luck with your car...
