308 :What is it worth and what did it come fron
-
Just sold a Hudson 308 long block. Serial # 121854. What should it be worth and what did it come out of? Was thrown in on a deal when I bought a 50 Pacemaker. Thanks, Keith

was it in running condition or a "pig in a poke" type? there could be pretty wide range of price in there. did you say you already sold it? if so only reason to look back now is to kick yourself if you let it go too cheap, and that's no fun.

You are clearly right. I was told it did 15 years ago when it was thrown in on a deal. The man who I was dealing with said it was a Twin-H but he wouldn't part with those parts. All I know was it turned over, was not rusty, and ther was no oil on the dipstick. I was most curious about what it originaly powered. Was in Botteneau ND. The fellow who bought it wants to put it in his 51 Pacemaker. I appreciate the reply as this is my first try at this. Thanks, Keith

The engine was built in August of 1951 for a Hornet.

Thank You. I'll pass that on to the new owner. Keith
