I know a lot of us have been wondering what's going on with Bill and Charlies Antique Auto (the present owners of Ken and Kay Ammans vast Hudson parts stash), Well I went over ther today to buy a couple parts and to see what is going on. I had about an hour long discussion with the owner Chip Eldredge. He told me that Mike, the guy who did the internet and walk in sales, moved to Arizona and is no longer with the company. They are open for business and are in the process of cataloging the massive Amman parts inventory(over 10 semi trailer loads) and will be putting as many listings on E-bay as possible over the next several months. He is hiring an ex-Hudson technician, as well as an internet guru to help ID the parts that are not marked. He also said if anyone needs parts to give him a call personally and he'll try to find what you need and get it out to you. He also said anytime we want to stop by personally and pick thru stuff, just give him a call and he will meet you there at a time that is convenient for both parties. He also plans on having a Hudson cruise in/car show complete with cookout, etc. Chip seems to be a really cool guy and is eager to help us with out Hudson parts needs. Below is his contact info:

You don't have to put a post into a thread to track them - Just open the thread, look for "Thread Tools", and select "subscribe to thread". Once subscribed to a thread, you can also 'unsubscribe' if you no longer want to receive update notices on a particular thread.Don't mind me,just posting so I can find this later.
On the website - I know Chip has got to be a busy person, hopefully he will be able to get them back online - for those of us who are not close enough to walk through looking for something... Truthfully, I don't really like looking for my parts on eBay (although you might never suspect that by my eBay rating... ) -
Has there been any updates to this thread? Has anybody dealt with this parts business as of late? Word has it that they are MIA!

I just talked to Chip and I am also going over to Richmond IL to buy parts I need.
they have hundreds of parts for sale on eBay and have A + rating from buyers.
11 semi truck loads of parts! -
This seems to be the wave of the future for Hudson parts suppliers. There's the infamous K-Gap responsiveness, followed by the apparently non-existent ex-Bill Albright outfit (Vintage Coach).. no website, phone calls never returned...
Add this to the numerous "vendors" who won't send you a part until you mail a check and they wait 10 days for it to clear.
Isn't there anyone in this community who knows how to provide basic customer service? Is seems like business practices in this group are as old as our cars! -

Yup, and there is still 2 semi loads outside the building that haven't been put into inventory yet. I just got a 308 NOS water pump from Chip last night for $45.Dave W.

I went to there yesterday. Chip showed me around his shop and warehouse. It is simply unbelievable!! More parts than you can ever imagine. Prices are fair. His website is down. He needs 2 or 3 employees in my opinion to catalog all the parts. NOS and used. My favorite was a semi load of NOS doors, hoods, quarter panels with the Hudson factory tags. It seemed like every left over part from former dealers. Chip knows he needs to get organized, and I am sure he will. In the. Meantime, if you need something, call him.

Anything updated with this buisness?
-
I just got some parts last week from them. fast shipping....no issues
-
Phone just rings...tried email, called and faxed over 15 times with no response over the past 2-3 years
-
I got parts from Ebay. Arrived in 3 days.
-
Problem is i dont want there parts on ebay...want the good stuff in the warehouse. Dont think they have a clue on what they got and what is needed in the community i.e. door handles they list over and over on ebay
