    Ray,

As I recall you asked this same question earlier this year regarding the 2011 meet. You would have this information and so much more at your fingertips if you had a copy of the award winning White Triangle News, which is the official publication of the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club. It can be delivered right to your mailbox every other month for just $48.00 a year (1st Class-Canadian), that's $4.00 per month or .13 a day to keep up national meets, regional gatherings, technical information, parts, etc. I would be glad to send you the latest copy on the White Triangle News along with a membership application. All I need is your address and I'll get it in the mail to you!

Come on Ray, join the club, we'd love to have you as a member.

This link should take you to info on the National:
    http://www.hetclub.org/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=77

And, you might want to save this under your Favorites - The HET Club website:
    http://www.hetclub.org/

And, in case you are considering joining - the online membership application for the HET Club:

    Hi Ray,

How is your work on the 54 Hornet progressing? Your dedication toward the completion of this restoration is to be commended. However, you are missing a great resource by remaining outside of the HET Club. As John indicates, one benefit is that you would receive the award winning WTN magazine that is painstakingly produced by Sam and Mary Ann Jackson. This is a great source of information regarding Hudson activities around the world featuring page after page of stunning photographs  and interesting text. Being an official member of the club immediately connects you to thousands of people like yourself who are committed to the preservation of Hudson, Essex and Terraplane vehicles. Ray, the HET Club needs members like you ... we need you ! :)

I've been an HET member or 43 years come October. That I'm still a member, and plan on being for a while longer, says something about this club.

This isn't just a car club to me - it's my family and the National meets are my family reunions. Being retired, now, and on a fixed income coming up with the dues each year is difficult - but if I have to make a choice between groceries or dues, dues are going to be paid. They're right up there with the rent and the utility bill in getting paid. And I pay first class.

Sure, you can get all the info you need to restore your Hudson, access (at the moment) to some of the HET club web sites and much more if you don't join the club. What you miss is the most important part of it all - the close friendships that members enjoy.

Do you know what your local chapter is up to?? Sure you may know a few people and maybe you even make a chapter meet now and again. But without being a chapter member you miss a lot of meets that are published in the chapter newsletter. And you can't (legally) join a chapter unless you are an HET member.

So, please give joining HET a lot of thinking. You're missing so much.
