Auction is already over - however I had to comment on the price this floor pan brought...

    $577.00 + $45.00 shipping = $622.00!

Yo - 'Bent Metal' - At this price, You might want to think about mass producing some! This would probably fit my '39 (with some work), and is identical to the '38 pan (well, what is left of a '38 sitting on my shop floor).

I have repaired these transmission covers for the 37-40 Hudsons and Terraplanes, as well as the 1941-47 Hudsons. I cut the rusted sections out and welded in new sides with the holes. The raised "hump" part seldom rots itself. To make a new complete floor pan would be too much work to do by hand due to the compound curves of the hump. Kenneth

I second the motion! My '39 is also rusted quite severly and has a floor shifter hole hacked into it from the Model A engine/tranny swap that had been done to it!

Does anyone have a 'transmission hump' (original, in decent condition)from a 40, 41, 42, 46 or 47 Hudson that they could digitally photograph?

Please PM me - or send the photos to HETrick_clark@yahoo.com (drop the 'HET' from the email address)

    Thanks in advance!

I made one for my 40 coupe from the roof of the scrapped out 39cc. Might not look too good but it works and will be covered by a carpet.
