Right Essex parts

I don't know so I need to find out, is the tail light and bumper (same on front) on our car right for a '30 Essex? I've seen pictures of Model A's that seem to have similar bumpers. Also is the yellow/red lens right for a '30 Essex?

The bumper is Model A. I can't tell if the stop light is Ford or not.

Gene is correct- those are Model A bumpers. The Essex bumpers are fairly straight on the top bar, with the bottom bar coming to a 'V' in the middle. For the Coach model like yours the bumpers are similar, but not the same on the front and back.
The tail light is close, but doesn't look to be correct.
I will try to post pics of mine sometime during the weekend.
The car is looking great, Steve! What else do you need to do to it?
BTW- love your pic of 'The Ghoul'. Used to watch that show on UHF Channel 50 out of Detroit when I was a kid.

Thanks, I figured those probably were Model A bumpers. They'll have to do for now, maybe look for right ones next year. I'm wondering if a solid red lens with "STOP"
on the top half is right. I've seen plenty of those.
Joe, thanks for remembering one of my favorite late night movie hosts. I watched him out of Cleveland back in the day. I don't think I'll ever get my car totally restored as I like driving it too much. Most of it is original, interior could be redone, engine is original just cleaned up and painted but runs fine. A few other things redone like driveshaft, clutch, radiator and front end.Steve

Haha, another Ghoul fan here from south of Youngstown back then. Here's a pic of the bumpers on my 30...

I can take some detail shots if you need.I'd gladly settle for "A" bumpers if mine was up and running. -
Thanks TwinH, those pictures are good.Steve

The tail light looks very much like Model A. A freind has one the same on his A.

Here's a similar taillight on a 29 Essex sedan I saw in an Arizona junkyard last
spring.

Thanks for the pictures. May hold on to this light for now.Steve
