I just called KGAP and their phone number has been disconnected. I called them yesterday and the phone was working although I did not get an answer. This is not a good sign folks.

Kgap is actually a huge practical joke being played upon us by Aliens with a sense of humour who are doing experiments on the patience limits of humans. For some reason the Aliens seem to enjoy targetting australians, possibly due to the Pine gap missile site.

I just dialed 951-727-0607 and talked with Kaylene. The phone is working, not disconnected.

no they were not at the national surprise surprise!!! i guess the members with a list in their pocket and cash in there wallets and a hudson needing parts does not interest the springs. so sad. i would think someone paying 100 k for a thriving busines that the kales built along with all the goodwill and help the kales put into k-gap would maybe like to keep it thriving. so sad!! they could not even send catalogs to the national, maybe they should help our guys in washington, they seem to be doing a fine job with our economy.:(

I have bought several parts from them over the years and have been very satisfied until lately. I ordered a few parts in Dec. I was missing a few and never got them, finaly with no response I had payed through PayPal and had them send a resolve problem to PayPal and Kaylene. She sent my money back and shipping to PayPal. This was very buisness like, but I still need the parts and still don't know if they have them or where to get them.

I did receive a note from Kaylene and feel very sorry foor her and her family at this time and wish them luck. I hope all comes out well for her family.

I don't know if I should, but here is the note she sent:

Our comp.has been in the shop 10 times since Mar. and spending 60-7 hrs. at my mothers bedside, who is in hospice dying a slow death from losing the ability to speak and swallow due to end stage Alzheimer's. I apologize. Kaylene

Give her a break! If you think waiting for Hudson parts is tough, she spending 60-70 hrs. a week at her mothers bedside, who is in hospice dying a slow death and losing the ability to speak and swallow due to end stage Alzheimer's.

Not that anyone else really needs to comment on this, but I just need to put my .02 cents in.... Almost two years ago, I waited 10 months for my order to be completed, then was sent the wrong stuff in the end. I just gave up and consider it a lesson learned. And yes I repeatedly called, emailed, etc. I have run my own business for 20 years and experienced the death of both my parents, hospice care and all. But the long and short of it is.... that it has nothing to do with my customers spending their hard earned cash in my business. I do have compassion for anyone going through hard times, it's a difficult heartbreaking situation at best. But that being said, if you take someones money, send them the goods or don't take the money in the first place. That's the price of having your own business. If the busines is run as a hobby, let people know right up front that it's a hobby and that they might expect long delays and have a difficult time in resolving problems. Then nobody can gripe about the customer service.

I have had similar issues with same excuses like "Computer Broke". I ordered 2 small pieces that would have fit in a letter size envelope, but no luck, no parts, no refund and no communication. Several years ago I ordered several parts on several different occasions and they all came very quick with never an issue. I understand the majority of issues came with owner change. Being in business for many, many years I think it may simply be a case of biting off more than you can chew.

I just got another order from them 2 weeks ago. Thats 2 orders this year. I emailed my request they said they had it. I requested paypal invoice got that paid and my parts came. Total time from email to paypal invoice both times was about 30 mins.

Both orders came on time. I wonder why some guys its quick and some its not. Could be they always have what I want in stock so they only have to mail it.

I swore that I wasn't going to comment again on Kgap, the last go'round ended up with me getting banned from the site for a while from the moderator.
I too, have had problems with them, including the instant taking of my money and then not delivering the goods. I really feel sorry for them. They seem to be really nice folks, just over their heads.
I finally wrote it off as a lesson learned and moved on. I know some guys get all the parts they ask for so I can't understand why it is so selective.
All I know is much like the rest of the country, the forum can be really polarized so a lot of information goes to waste. People tend to take whatever side they want to regardless of the facts.
Here's hoping the heath problems settle out, the computer gets fixed, and they succeed as a thriving business...slim

Anyone have a computer that they could donate to KGAP. Few people spend much money on PC repairs these days, especially 10 times??? They are pretty cheap good used and not much more new! I just gave some decent HP Pavillions to Good Will.
