Hudson Hornet Tatoo

My painter liked the car so much that he had a tatoo put on his arm. He showed it to me today. Its not done yet and this is not the best pic but the detail close up is amazing. Cool if you like tatoo's and Hudsons....

I've owned my Hudson for 38 years and owned a tattoo shop for 20 years, but could never decide on what "Hudson" tattoo I'd get!

You guys and girls with tats are going to have to forgive me, but I think that's really, really, really dumb. But then I work with kids as young as eleven who have tats on their necks above the collar, on their shaved heads, even on their faces; girls with "sleeves," etc., etc. One kid had his girlfriend's name tattooed on his forehead (really! first name curved over one eye, last over the other). Of course he came back to us right away...a juvie getting tats while on probation is a PV...:sick:HETfortyqtpi@earthlink.net (drop the HET)

I really like my Navy tattoo. I had it done when I was 19 and have not regretted it.... Different strokes for different folks. -

That statement is a sure "Karma" killer... LOL!
In all honesty, I don't like tats - but feel it is a personal decision, i.e., to each their own.
I would say this much - advise for young people getting them (most older folks know what they're getting into) -
- Don't make the decision with a 'crowd' or while with a group of 'friends' that might influence your decision. Many things done 'at the heat of the moment' are later regretted. You have to live with it, they do not;
- Think twice about it, or 'sleep on it'. You might change your mind, or decide on something different;
- Avoid tats on the face, neck, head or hands, and restrict what tats you put on your forearms. Tats in those areas can detract from or be a negative factor in high-profile jobs, etc.. Ladies should avoid tats on their lower legs, or anywhere else that would detract from their appearance in business or formal attire;

One of the oldest forms of art known to man. Must come from that old comcept of body mutalation? Much like Scribshaw, I have always been a fan of it but would not consider it for myself. My mechanic has a "woodywagon" hot rod on his fore arm that is really cool. My old age spots are about as it is going to get around here.....Brownie

No not my tatoo, but I do have a butterfly on my lower back.... LOL -
Yea, I never thought I would like a tattoo on myself. Then when I turned 40 I started to weaken. I got a Hudson triangle on my right calf (leg). I really like it but don't believe I would get any more. That is the question you get when you get a tattoo, "When you gona get your next one?". Its kind of like when you get married they ask you, "When are you gona have kids" then "Whens the next one coming?".

Here's mine. Had the drawing for 5 years before I finally went in and had it done. At least now, when I tell people I have a Hudson Hornet I can show them exactly what mine looks like.
And the man is right, Never get a tattoo where a judge can see it. Everyone else can deal.

All other considerations aside can you really believe Betty is going to believe you just had the name Mary tatooed on your chest while on a drunken liberty binge!!!!! LOL
On 2nd thought a lot of tatoos were applied to servicemen who were decidedly under the influence of some substance or other.
Reminds me of the story of the gal who had the letter M tatooed on each cheek of her butt - when she bent over MOM; when she stood on her head "WOW". :ohmy:
Oh, well, they can be removed.

I have to look at the tats on anyone who applies to work for me. If they have anything that might be taken for offensive by anyone they don't get the job. I'm turning away more than I should have to just because something that seemed cool or funny is now not acceptable in a retail environment. Freedom of expression will bite you on the butt some day

I Love this! I have never loved or priced anything as much and my Hudson, theres no better way then to have it tattoo'd for life!
