Twin H Air Cleaner Screen Color

Can anyone tell me what color the inner and outer screens are suppose to be painted on Twin H Air Cleaners. Thanks.

Pardon my ignorance about the "inner and outer" screens, but if you are talking about the original filter proper, there was no paint on them originally. Usually they were soaked in gasoline, blown out with the air hose, and sometimes some folks would put some oil in them, then re-install.
Of course, modern day paper-type filters are a better alternative, if originality isn't a factor. -
I'm not sure, I think silver though. Like "Super-Six" said. A low gloss silver.
