Gas mileage??
-
I am getting near retirement and would like to travel around the US pulling our tear drop camper. I would like to have a 1949 Hudson but I am concerned about gas mileage. We aren't rich so the gas is a big thing for us. Can anyone tell me what a stock Hudson would get approximately for mileage?

I can't help you with the gas mileage of a '49 Hudson but you might want to ask that question in the Hudson forum where more people will see it.

Traveling around the country in a '49 Hudson pulling a tear drop trailer sounds like an excellent retirement adventure! I hope you can make it happen.

About 20 mpg seems about right. If you're having a great time, sacrificing some gas mileage is worth it!http://www.licauto.com/used-cars.aspx
