As is our normal human inclination, we gripe and publically admonish a vendor who's struggling to catch up and or keep up. We don't often enough give an "atta boy" when an order comes promptly. Over this past weekend I ordered a few pieces from K-Gap and received them in Wednesday's mail. A fellow Hudsonite ordered motor mounts from K-Gap over the the weekend and called to say he got them Wednesday.
I'm taking this opportunity to say "thank you Kaylene, for the prompt service".
Last thursday I ordered a gasket and bottle of clutch fluid from Dr. Doug. It got here Tuesday. I'm taking this opportunity to say "thank you Doug, for the prompt service.

More of this should be done. I commend you for having an attitude that is practical and trying to settle this thing down.

Seems like some people do not realize that they are working on vehicles that you cant go down to the corner store and get a part for.

A business like K-Gap has to really watch inventory as to what sells & has made.

A person could fabricate rocker panels but each set sold would probably be the last sale they make to that particular person.

A run of a few hundred would last awhile.

Nothing you could make for these cars is going to be a big money deal for the producer/seller. At least at a price point a person can afford.

Businesses are built or destroyed based on reputation. A good reputation is earned and so is a bad one. The owners of a business control this.

Again, I have an opportunity to give an "atta boy".
Order some pieces from Russ Maas last Friday, said package would be here Tuesday.
Home from work this evening, Package here.
So, Mr. Maas, I thank you for your prompt service.
