The White Triangle News arrived in Kansas yesterday. I'm definitely going to spring for first class when I renew. Another great edition Sam and Mary Ann!

Since the magazine was mailed from Ypsilanti on May 16, something's wrong. Shoot me your snail mail address at HETfortyqtpi@earthlink.net please. Sam

    Things to check:

Make sure your address is correct - but especially your zip code. Go one step further and use zip + 4 (google it). Yes, mailing lables for the WTN are printed - make sure you make it ledgeable for Charlotte when you renew. Typed or a computer label goes a long way to help. Since I'm scanning Hudson stuff and know how to do it, I used to scan the renewal form, then fill in the blanks. Of course now I use PayPal - so much easier and simpler.

Believe it or not the post office doesn't go by addresses, except in very small towns, any more. They go by zip code. It doesn't matter if your address is correct - if the zip isn't postal employees are totally confused. I have had this happen to me - mailed something and got one digit wrong in the zip code. Despite the right street address and city, it came back to me as undeliverable.

Yes, some postal workers probably do spirit magazines away to read over in a corner somewhere - they are, I think, human!! The new shrink wrap should help eliminate that.

Far fetched, but possible, the carrier is dumping junk mail and heavy magazines somewhere. Don't laugh at this one - it has happened. A carrier retired, later died and when they opened up his house a couple of rooms were packed with undelivered mail. As I recall he was an old batchelor who never married.

That's just a few things. There is also the possiblity of carriers who (a) can't read or (b) don't feel like walking an extra block so just dump your mail in somebody elses mail box (doesn't happen often tho - I think it's part of the postal systems "meet-your-neighbor" campaign.
