She starts right up and runs smooth! It seems like she can idle all day in 96 degree heat and never overheat. Incredibly smooth, reliable, and powerful engine. I'm really impressed that a 60 year old car feels so solid and smooth on the road, Hudson's are amazing cars!

    Nice paint job.

Is this the same car that is now listed on E-Bay for around $32,000?
Is this the exact car that was used to make the movie Cars?

Yes, I REALLY don't want to sell her, but I need to. I'm going to REALLY miss her. Of course the movie was animated. My car was used to create a full sized, fiberglass "Doc Hudson" race car that Paul Newman drove at Lowes Motorspeedway at the Pixar Movie launch in 2006. Pixar contracted Gunnar Racing to build a "Doc Hudson" to launch the movie and Gunnar subsequently purchased my car and a 52 Hollywood to use. Both cars were used to take molds to create the car for Pixar and subsequently sold. The 52 Hollywood has the full "Doc Hudson" race-car decals and is currently at the Volo Museum. My car and the 52 were previously from the same collection prior to Gunnar Racing purchasing them.
