Essex 4 Coach Still Available For Sale!!
-
Let's try this again............
If you are interested in purchasing an extremely nice all original, and very rare early Hudson product, this is your chance!
Due to health issues, at the end of June, long time HET members Buddy & Carol Seeberg are moving from their home in Medford, Oregon to Florida, so that they can be closer to family members.
They need to find a new home for their 1922 Essex Coach as they cannot take it with them to Florida.
They must sell this car before the moving date in late June. To this end they have drastically reduced the asking price from $15,000 down to $6,500. Yes! you read that correctly........$6,500!
Also included in the price are 4 new tires w/tubes which if you had to buy them separately today would cost $1,064 before shipping!
Needless to say, this is a fantastic price for this great old car, and is one of those deals that you always think only the "other guy" stumbles onto.
This car is all original, w/factory original paint & upholstery, runs/drives, and only needs some TLC to the clutch to be ready for the next HET meet, or show.
Buddy is only the 3rd owner of this car having purchased it from the son of the original owner in the early 80's.
The 1922 Hudson & Essex Coach models are some of the most historically significant cars that Hudson ever produced! The introduction of the Coach body by Hudson Motor Co. in 1922 was the first time in the automotive industry history that a closed car was sold in same price range as an open touring car.
For more info & phone number see the ad in the Jan/Feb, and Mar/April White Triangle News classifieds.
You can also send me a PM with your email address, and I will be happy to help you contact Buddy, as well as send you a PDF file with many pictures of this great old car.
Note: Please do not add speculative, or confusing replies to this thread relating to the status of this car. As soon as I receive news from Buddy & Carol themselves that this car has sold, rest assured I will let you all know it's true status here.

I have just received an email from Buddy & Carol that the Essex has found a new home in sunny southern California!! :woohoo: :woohoo:
I won't spoil the surprise now, and will save the fun for new owner to reveal himself.
I know that this takes a huge load off their shoulders as they prepare for their cross country move to Florida.
Thank you to everyone that I was able to send the photo's, and information to regarding the car.
Also want to send a big Thank You to the moderator here at the forum that was so kind to put a sticky on these threads so that they would stay at the top, as time was getting short for Buddy & Carol to find a new home for this car before their move date.Dave Bean
