Just recently purchased my Clifford headers and am anxious to get the motor back in the our '52 Hudson Hornet so we can take some trips -- if gas prices don't get too out of control - LOL! Planning on going to Shipshewana, IN for the Central Regional Meet in June. Hope to see everyone there :)

    Gary,

Here are some pics of the little block I told you about that I'm using for my choke heat tubes. The header flange is fairly thick, so the small screw holding the block in place is attached to a blind hole, so as not to interfere with the sealing surface with the engine. Also, the two vertical holes that the heat tubes nest in started out as blind holes, but I found that they needed to be opened up. The air drawn through these tubes will affect the air/fuel mixture at the carb. Good Luck, Doug

Nice set up for the choke. My set up is a little different, I'm using a repair kit, but with two tubes.

    Hi Doug:

Where did you get the bracket holding the choke tubes? Did you make it or pick it up somewhere??

    Thanks again for the pictures!
