Are you looking to copy them for your own or re-post them on the forum? You can use the eBay widget to post eBay auctions on the Forum.Ted J. Welch

Both Ted, If I post them on the Forum using the eBay widget then I suspect they'll disappear when eBay deletes them.
Some photos I want for my own (on going) collection.Dave Y

Some foe toes are blocked by the seller so they can't be copies.HETfortyqtpi@earthlink.net (drop the HET)

I just take a screen shot -- but I am on a MAc not sure how a PC takes screen shots

I've found that you can copy the image in the old way (right mouse button/copy or 'control C') if you first use the eBay provided "print" button.
Thanks for the answers.Dave Y

Yes, you are correct in that the Widget only shows until ebay dumps the auction. So, if you want to post something for the long haul, your are better off to copy them to a file.Ted J. Welch

You may be able to save it as a "document" photo, by the copy / paste method combined with screen shot, as follows:
1. zoom in on the photo portion of the Ebay page (I use the little wheel on my mouse to zoom).
2. Hit the PRINT SCREEN button (on my keyboard it's to the right of F12).
3. Open up your word processing program (I use MS Word) and get a blank sheet of paper.
4. Hit PASTE (right-click it, or find it in the dropdown menu). This should put the Ebay picture on the page. You can also "insert text box" (in the case of Word), then put your cursor inside it, and then hit PASTE. That way you can move the thing around your screen. In either instance, you should be able to enlarge the photo by dragging the little dot thingies around the corners. (sorry for all this super-technical jargon, LOL!) -
Right-click image copy no longer seems to work, even in print mode. But here's a workaround - click on the photo you want and then save the HTML page. That will create a web site folder on your hard drive with all the page data. Open the folder, view as thumbnails and open the picture you want in a photo editor and you're in business.
P.S. If anyone likes 1/245h models, that's my primary interest. -

Much easier to use the "print" function in eBay (It's just underneath the box with the "item number" in it). Then you save the wanted pic (in the print screen)in the usual way to what ever folder on your computer you want. Post that file to the forum in the usual (slightly painful) way.Dave Y

I've never had a problem downloading pictures from ebay - all I've ever done is to click on the picture to enlarge it, then download it to (in my case) my pictures.
