I am curious if any of our long time members have noted very quick loading speeds we have achieved with the new server platform? I know that some were experiencing lagging due to high traffic and we wanted to learn if that has disappeared. :)

Ted, at the top I get a l new message. After reading it and come back to the forum there is still a 1 new message but it is the same message. Am I suppose to click onto something to change that? It hasn't been a problem. I'm not complaining, just wondering. I appreciate what you do for us. Thanks.

Seems to be working much faster - but then I'm using an eight year old computer so who knows. It's getting to be like an old man (ok, me) - it's memory isn't all that great. LOL

I'm probably going to get a speeding ticket for going this fast!

As a side note, I long for the days of dial-up... It allowed me to just sit there and do nothing while the page loaded.

I've seen that term "Refresh" mentioned before, but I don't have that key on my key board and I have never found it on the screen. Will you tell me how to do that?

    Thanks, Lee

Not 100% sure Lee but, if you look on the upper part of your screen, you should be able to spot a square containing 2 green arrows ( one up and one down). If you click on it it should refresh the page. At least, it does on mine. Hope this will help. Michel.

I tried the green arrows and the note on using F5 but it is still there. Lee

Much, much faster, Ted. Thank you! Do you think there is any chance that down the road we could get the "Print" option back? I really miss it :( . Other than that, I do want to say that I am really appreciative that we have this forum. Thanks for all of the hard work!

Much faster, even at the far end of a very long piece of electric string!!
Is there a clever way to get to the next or previous thread rather than going back to the Hudson Forum listing?

Ted, thanks for all your efforts in improving the viewing experience.

I have a request in to add the print feature. I will check on the status and let you know soon.
