I am assembling the steering column on my 54 Hornet after rechroming. I need the 12 volt bulb number to replace the FS51 6 volt bulb that lights up the hydramatic shift selector pointer.

    thanks

    Chris,

When I converted my 54 Hornet to 12 V last summer I used #57 lamps for the Hydramatic shift selector and all dash lights, including the oil and gen lights.

    Hope this helps,
    Tom

That helps, thanks. I also wonder if anyone is reproducing the steering column seals at the floor pan. One is a molded rubber and the other is just a flat piece that is fabric reinforced rubber.
