Water jackets

    Phil Haxby in Victoria wrote a good article earlier this year about restoring the jackets. From memory, you remove the baffle plate and grit blast the jacket to get it back to bare metal then get a chroming shop to copper plate it. You can then solder up the holes or solder patches over holes. Then solder in a new baffle plate. Thought I would share this good idea. An alternative is to get one made out of stainless steel.
    In a few weeks I will be placing an order for some more stainless steel water jackets - 6 & 8cyl with top or bottom outlets. I have posted photos before, but here they are again in case anyone is interested. If so pls contact me at HETozhudson@gmail.com. Delete the HET. Regards, Barry

    I put one of Barrys prototype models on my 36T,worked a treat(had to weld and redrill a couple of holes,but not too much trouble)looks great.Highly reccomended,i want another one Baz!(one of the newer model)
