It would be a bargain at 75K, even in the current market. -
I talked to this guy and he says he does not know what it is worth, i think he has it on ebay just to get the feel of values only
-
Big numbers already and a week to go... too late to get it for Christmas.
My guess is $96,000.00

Wow....that is a beauty!! Probably a good thing I don't own it since I'd have a hard time not lowering it a little.....something like this:

fQBGk.jpg800 x 533 - 80KThis Hudson project is starting to scare the crud out of me!!! -

His quote: "If this car does not sell, it will go back in the garage. And we will list another one." -

WOW, That's BEAUTIFUL!
Correct me if I'm wrong...that's Photoshop, not the blue wrench?
John -
If he is selling this, and perhaps other cars, to buy his dream car; I wonder what his dream car is? I consider his convertible one of my dream cars.....Brownie
-
Yup, a 52 Hornet Convert is definately one of my dreamers.
-
Can anyone tell us what happened to the auction. It seemed to end early
Fred -
It sold ($62 K) to a gentleman in his town (Star, Idaho.) By the way, his dream car was an Aubrun Boattail....
I would take either one or both.....Brownie -

Well, then I can understand. Only trouble is, 62K is not going to get him an Auburn boattail in any condition. -
Russell, I expect that we will see other of his nice stash of Hudson's available for sale in the near future? He is a long time Hudson Collector. When the snow ments and the hope of Spring is in the air I will head up that was and check it out...Brownie

At least, not a real one.
I'd still rather have the Hudson. You can drive a Hornet convertible across the country without the worry of destroying or depreciating a museum piece. You'll turn at least as many heads in the process because no one will think it's a kit. God forbid if you would get in a wreck with the Auburn... there are no sources for repair parts.Workin Stiff -

Agreed! 100%
