pretty sure this car was on the market 5 or 6 years ago..smashed by tree and way over priced last time it was marketed, and not complete..which would explain why it is still available now. others here may correct my flawed memory. regards, tom
just went to the site. yes, this is the exact same ad from years ago..in fact the other cars posted are familiar too. makes me think this operation is no longer an operation..so it wouldn't matter if you were in the states or not. regrds, tom -
Also, I believe the hood is actually from a 1933 Chrysler-not a Hudson hood.

This guy is very hard to deal with. I tried to buy some parts from him a few years ago. He is in Santa Barbara, CA. After mucho emails, phones calls, etc., we arranged a meeting time and I got stood up!

I just had a very frustrating experience with this guy trying to buy a pair of tail lights off eBay. I was willing to pay the "buy now" price just wanted a few details on condition. Asked some questions most of which weren't answered. Then it took a couple emails for him to clarify that he had sold one of them already. But would sell the remaining one for 80% of the pair asking price!

If this is the guy I spoke to at that number (a couple years ago), his name is Lassen and lived in Orange, Connecticut back in 1970. I also lived in Connecticut at the time and was shopping for a mid-thirties convertible. He had a '35 Dodge convertible for sale and I drove down to see it. I finally decided against that Dodge, opting instead to buy a '37 Terraplane convertible a year later. I still own it.

The guy I was communicating with identified himself as Roy.
And yes that hood doesn't look right. I believe the side vents should be horizontial.
Nice looking 37!
