What year is this Hudson?
-
It is identified as a "Hudson Super Six Touring Limousine" but I can't seem to nail down the exact year. Any help from a Hudson genius would be appreciated.
-
My guess is '20. It reminds me of Buzz Stahl's.
-
My guess is 1919.

They sold this same body style from 1919 through to 1924.If you're stuck in a hole, stop digging.

Yeah, looks like Buzz's car. His is a '20

And very little difference in trim from year to year. Difficult to nail down the exact year on this one. -
However, upon close inspection, because of the 10-spoke front wheels and the low-set bowl shaped headlamps I tend to agree that it is 1918 or '19, as from 1920 onwards all cars had 12-spoke front wheels. If you're stuck in a hole, stop digging.

The body is clearly a Biddle&Smart as the widshield shape was characteristic opf their work at that time. It is just like the windshield on the 1923 seven passenger sedan I once owned. But the headlights do mark it a pre-1920.

Here's a "known to be a '19" that was part of the Hudson anniversary display at Hilton Head Concours last year.IMG_4189.JPG800 x 533 - 65K
