Well things are finally starting to progress on the 52 Coupe. Here are some pics from today... Body had been taken down to metal and windows, doors, hood and trunk removed. Car just got painted a 2008 BMW "Crimson Red" with three coats of clear. It will now be color sanded and then install the new chrome from Glen Johnson, polished stainless from Rick Monroe and then off to Pomona Upolstery.... WIll send more pics as things progress!

A real Bomb! Have you ever put pics of your motor before? Would like to see it. Michel.

The color is beautiful and looks really good. BUT reminds me of what my Mother said when she saw what color I had painted her car when I was 17 years old. Brilliant red. She said it "looked like sin". Oh well, I liked it and I like yours. Enjoy, Bob P

I've posted them before but here is a pic... you can see that the body color is a bit darker than your typical lipstick red aircleaners. Better than Viagra.....

    Hi Lee,

I found a set of Hornet racing decals from a model on e-bay. Should be easy have the sign shop enlarge. If I do the graphics, it will be on my 51 Coupe.

It was a toss up on whether to paint this one red or black. I think the NOS interior will be striking. The next coupe I do will be black. Love the shiney chrome and stainless on a black car.

Put a cherry on top and a siren up front... make it a Fire Chiefs car!

I love the color and I love the car. It is looking great. Will we see it at the Western Regional in April. Not sure if you have your chrome or not but I went with Glen yesterday and we took a bunch of 52 stuff down to the chrome shop that he uses.
